This was exactly what was presented to Parador this past Friday as the result of participating in the initiative „Youth imagining the future“. For five days the Coesfeld-based company had been host to a group of 21 students from Oswald-von-Nell-Breuning Berufskolleg. Parents, representatives of the responsible school bodies, teachers and employees of the company were all present to watch participants of the Innovation Game „Future Exhibition 2020“ present their ideas which had been developed based on a variety of methodical tools, role plays and most importantly through insights into real-life business processes. continue >> |

After the launch of the first consumer advertising campaign Parador – supplier of a full range of flooring products - is starting to be perceived more and more as a consumer brand thus moving away from the private label image. With great commitment the sales team is actively furthering Parador’s POS-presence in England. Meyer Parkettindustrie GmbH: Subject to antitrust reservations, Parador GmbH & Co.KG has taken over the remaining 50% of shares from brothers Christophe and Stefan Meyer in what used to be a production joint-venture with Gebr. Meyer Parkettindustrie GmbH located in Güssing/Austria. After seven years of partnership in the field of engineered wood flooring production accompanied by continuous expansion of the Güssing location, from the day the takeover will come into effect Parador for the first time ever will be the sole proprietor of the ultra-modern wood flooring production site. After their withdrawal from the production joint-venture the former shareholders Christophe und Stefan Meyer, who had founded the company back in 1999, are now planning to concentrate more on their personal fields of operation. An important part of this will definitely be production activities of solid wood flooring in Austria and Hungary. Furthermore the Meyer-group will continue to actively market their own trademark „Symphony“, which will continue to be manufactured in Güssing as before. Parallel to the takeover a supply contract covering several years of supply with the Güssing plant was signed providing security to the Meyer-brothers’ customers. Both partners of the joint-venture are looking back at seven years of cooperation with great satisfaction. In the future the Coesfeld-based flooring manufacturer will run the Güssing site under the name „Parador Parkettwerke GmbH“. continue >> |
